Melissa & Demetrius // Winter Wedding at the Huntsville Country Club

After what has felt like WEEKS of non stop rain, Huntsville finally got some SUN just in time for Melissa & Demetrius to say “I Do”! These two were blessed with 60 degree weather in February and the most incredible sunset. Perfect weather and a head-over-heels-in-love couple are a photographer’s DREAM, let me tell you. :)

Thanks to some incredibly talented family members, all of the yellow and navy details came together flawlessly throughout St. Rebecca Primitive Church and the Huntsville Country Club. From decor to musical performances to paperie, this family is our new go-to for all things weddings!

Side note: If you aren’t both crying AND laughing during your wedding ceremony, you’re doing it wrong. These two (but really looking at you, Demetrius…) had no problem keeping us all entertained as they recited their personalized vows!

After what seemed like a standing room only ceremony, Melissa & Demetrius were romantically whisked away to their reception at the Huntsville Country Club in a PARTY BUS. (Millennials definitely know how to have the best of both worlds; don’t @ me.)

We stole the new Mr. & Mrs. Charley away for a quick sunset photoshoot around the property thanks to the help of the fabulous staff and a couple of golf carts that we had no idea how to operate! (It turns out we weren’t as stealthy as we had originally thought and Melissa’s mom almost cut the cake for herself when she couldn’t find a bride and groom at the reception…oops!)

We felt so honored to be a part of such a love-filled day with Demetrius & Melissa’s family and friends! If we had a “can’t stop smiling around each other” award, it would 1000% go to these two.
